In the interest of our dog’s safety, we have to cancel this week’s training at GMHT. The combination of high temperatures and even higher than normal humidity simply make it unsafe to train for even a brief period of time.
And it is not very fair to ask our members to travel any length of time to arrive at 7am, only to be forced out of the field at 8am. We hope you can understand our concern for all the dogs safety.
Some of your BOD’s have been out in the field with their dogs in the last few days, and have had to stop outside activities before 8am. Even the water work is not healthy for our beloved friends.
We will continue to monitor the temperature and humidity and send out information on the next training at QHF on August 26th.
