Ronald Cass and his Wife Sharon members of the Florida Palmetto Chapter are residents of Florida during the winter months and train with The Florida Palmetto Chapter of NAVHDA. Due to a scheduling issue they were unable to Run Cyrus in the Spring NA test, so they entered Cyrus into a NA Test with the Mid-Ohio Chapter of Navhda. Handled by Ronald Cass, Cyrus performed as expected and the Judges delivered a Prize 1, 112 for Cyrus. Congratulations to the Cass family and Cyrus.
The Florida Palmetto Chapter of NAVHDA is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to foster, promote, and improve the versatile hunting dog breeds in North America; to conserve game by using well trained reliable hunting dogs before and after the shot; and to aid in the prevention of cruelty to animals by discouraging nonselective and uncontrolled breeding, which produces unwanted and uncared for dogs. The Florida Palmetto Chapter conducts educational activities, training sessions, and sponsors NAVHDA sanctioned tests throughout the year. Our goal is to help our members fully realize the potential of their versatile hunting dogs as companions and hunting partners. We are proud of our continued contribution to improvement of the versatile hunting dog through our breeding, training and testing programs. We are a very family oriented Chapter and thus strongly encourage all family members to participate at our events. As an existing or new member we want to keep you well informed about our events.
