June 6 Training Day at QHF — What a Fantastic Morning!
We had an outstanding turnout and an even better day of training. Our youngest pups kicked things off by learning the basics — table work, place board skills, and the basics of obedience — lots of wiggly enthusiasm It was great watching them think, try, and grow with each repetition.
From there, we introduced the newest dogs to their very first birds. Every handler had the chance to work their dog through searching, finding, and pointing — and it was a joy to see those natural instincts come alive.
As the heat climbed, we all made good use of the shade, plenty of water, and of course… swimming! Dogs and humans alike enjoyed cooling off and ending the day enjoying a hot dog lunch and ending on a fun note.
Thanks to everyone who came out — we love spending these days with you and your dogs. Days like this are what make our community so special.
Our next training day is at QHF July 11 7am.
