Hello Palmetto Chapter!

The Chapter had a good weekend last training weekend at QHF and the Snake Avoidance Clinic. 48 participants got to run thru the snake avoidance clinic! Thank you to all that helped!

Great news about QHF! The current situation of the fields being really wet will soon become dryer year around. They are working with those that control the level of water being held back which will dry up the area along with more QHF road development to improve access. This is exciting news as those fields dry up and training will become much easier (dryer)!

Second great news is no one is on the waitlist any longer for our fall test! So, many things transpire from time of sign up to testing it is always important to get on the waitlist no matter how long it becomes. So many factors can occur sometimes right up until the eve of testing that being on it secures your opportunity. If not on it and an opening arises of course you won’t be able to run.  A dog running could get injured or sick the night before even and the vet instructs to pull the dog from the test, it is not unheard of the morning of, the next person in line may run. We all like to have a place secured, but it is important to be on the waiting list too as it does not mean you are not running.

Our next event is Nov 7&8 at GMHT which is the weekend before our test! Saturday will be dedicated to running thru the mock test, while Sunday will be general training. Those that are testing will be receiving detailed emails from our test secretary Missy Beattis this week.  Camping and bird purchases will be thru our club store.

Watch your emails for more details for our test weekend! We will be having a great time with testing and Saturday evening dinner with fundraisers to pay for our yearlong events.

Any questions please contact us!

Thank you everyone for everyone’s help!
