Come join us for a weekend of training and networking. We are planning a training weekend May 17 and 18th at CFFT in Lake Wales. Come for the weekend camping, or join us for the day, either works for us! Saturday evening we are planning some fun and games and a pot luck. We are opening May 17/18 weekend to non members to learn who we are. A waiver will need to be signed. Training days are $25 per day and Camping fees do apply for camping. What is NAVHDA?
The North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) is a group of like-minded people with one thing in common: we all enjoy the thrill of hunting over a well trained versatile dog.
Are you a hunter or non hunter interested in training your dog to his or her highest potential? Your local NAVHDA chapter for Florida is the Palmetto chapter devoted to helping members train their dogs for upland and waterfowl hunting.
Are you interested in evaluating your dog and enriching your dog’s potential for which they were bred for? The Palmetto chapter of NAVHDA hosts two sanctioned noncompetitive “tests” each year, where dogs are judged to a set of standards in situations designed to simulate real-world upland and waterfowl hunting scenarios.
